KRGS Agri Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is going to establish a new business conglomerate headquartered in Jammu, J&K. Foundation of our business is shaped by a lineage of sound and straight forward business principles Since - 1922, which was laid down by our great-grand-father and our grandfather Late Shri Kaka Ram Ji. Our past businesses and associations are built on a foundation of trust, faith and transparency, this forms the basis of our every business we operate in. We will be dealing in the Post-harvest Agriculture Commodities Supply Chain; majorly Preservation, Storage/Warehousing, Financial Services (Warehouse Receipt Financing), and Collateral Manager (Custodians of the Collaterals of the banks i.e. CM).
Vision
To make J&K, UT prosper in agriculture, free from unemployed youth, develop Agri-entrepreneurs within their hometowns, district or at the most, within the UT.
Mission
To develop 1000 independent Agri-entrepreneurs (AEs) and impacting 5 lakhs farmers’ families within J&K UT by or before 31st March, 2031.
Our Team is Our Strength
As evident from our name itself KRGS - Kaka Ram Grandsons & Sons, currently we are two generations, four promoter directors involved in this business. My younger brother Mr. Sajan Gupta, our father Shri Uttam Chand and his brother/our uncle Mr. Omkar Gupta.
Our father Shri Uttam Chand is a great visionary, it is because of him, I did my M. Sc. Agriculture (in 2004). The growth which we are looking today in Agriculture sector, he might have envisaged decades ago, so as he forced me to get qualified in Agriculture. He is the core and strength of our family as well as company.
Our uncle Mr. Omkar Gupta is Graduate in Commerce (1987) from Jammu University. After Graduation he get involved in different businesses and finally landed in our core family business, Agriculture Commodity trading in early 90’s. His vast experience in this sector is adding more value to the company.
On the other hand my younger brother Mr. Sajan Gupta is qualified pest control professional. He has done diploma in Urban Pest Management from Anamalai University and worked with corporates till 2012 before starting his own pest control business. He is a pillar to the company and is heading CommCare (Commodity Care and Pest Management) division of the company.
Fourth and last promoter of the company, myself having more than 19 years of work experience. In my last assignment I was a business consultant to Rice, Sugar, Textile and other agro processors in Punjab, Haryana and J&K. I have worked for more than 19 years in these fields PAN India. But as I am native of Jammu, I have decided to startup a business to strengthen postharvest ecosystem of J&K; outside J&K there are lot of companies doing business in this segment but they hardly provide/extend their services in J&K. We are the first and the only company registered in J&K focused on Post-harvest ecosystem (Warehousing, Collateral Management, Financing and Preservation) and we have got recognition from DPIIT as #startupindia, ‘Agriculture’ Industry and ‘Agri-Tech’ Sector in J&K.
